The Doylestown Ryder Cup at DCC

Format:

 

Morning 18

Four matches - 9 holes two-man scramble   

Four matches - 9 holes two-man alternate shot 

 

Afternoon 18

Four matches - 9 holes two-man best ball 

Eight matches - 9 holes individual matches   

 

All matches will be played with handicap.

Scramble = 20% of combined 9 hole handicap.

Alternate = 60% of lower / 40% of higher player's 9 hole handicap.

Scoring:

 

 

Each 9 hole match will be worth 1 point to the winning team.  In the event of a tie, each team will earn 1/2 a point.

 

10 1/2 points required to win the cup.

10-10 ties will result in a sudden death playoff on the 18th hole with 2 players from each team selected by the respective captains.
